Robotics is the future, including Mars Rovers
While talking about the legacy of the Space Race, every single person we interviewed said that robotics will be the future technology, although their answers slightly varied. Karla Peterson said we should use robotics along with humans. Mark Postman said that they are developing robots to take the place of manned space missions. Similarly, Max Mulcher said manned missions will end, robots will be used, and telescopes will go to the deep reaches of space. In addition, Professor Holland Ford said that expanding robotic technologies could allow us to send virtually controlled robots from the Earth's surface into space.
